Hiking with the dog
Does your dog love the Salzburger Land as much as you do? Then you've come to the right place in Leogang. He's even allowed on the cable cars! Discover new areas together - there is plenty to sniff and see. Shady forests for hot days and refreshing mountain streams. Here are a few tips for shorter hikes to get used to the height and the altitude:
The round tour leads from Puradies westwards in the direction of Asitz and further along the cycle path to the Schottergrube/Ederbauer junction. On the way back, mostly in the shade, the tour takes you via Hütten, the old railway station, back to Puradies.
Walking time approx. 2.5 hrs
The circular hiking trail starts directly from the PURADIES and goes in the direction of Asitz. The way from here is lined with numerous unusual works of art in which sculptors and painters have dealt with themes such as home, nature and tradition. The path also leads past a deer park; Red deer and fallow deer can be wonderfully observed at close range.
Walking time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes
You can reach the Miners' Tavern at the adventure mine directly from Puradies. Walk up the Schwarzleo valley, the mountain stream and the trees will keep you cool. And once you've reached the top, you can stop off at the Knappenstube or visit the exhibition mine. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed.
